Welcome to Golden Seal Nubians! I first got into goats in the year 2006 and had a variety of breeds until finally settling on nubians in 2008. In 2009 I decided to buy stock from some well known breeders that I admired and thought could improve my herd. A big thanks to Carol DuMont for helping me through buying her stock and answering all my questions. I'm quite happy with the stock I bought from her and I'm confident they are a great starter herd. I'm constantly looking for ways to improve my herd with bloodlines I admire and I feel can improve my herd genetics so I have reserved two bucks to be imported from Saada Dairy Goats for the spring of 2012 and also reserved another six does from Carol Dumont.

Healthy goats are of the highest importance to me. I feed my goats the highest quality alfalfa and grass hay I can get, calf manna as well as a cobb mixture I make myself. They also have baking soda, kelp, and minerals available to them 24/7. The kids are raised on a CAE preventative program and myself or my husband are present at all births. They are bottle fed pasteurized goats milk or milk replacer, given a kid ration that is 16% protien and top dressed with BOSS and calf manna.
